Post articles and advertise your business.

Did you know that you can actually post articles and advertise your business at the same time?  If the answers no, then continue reading this article to learn more about article submission and how it is a great way to advertise your business.  Writing and posting articles on the various websites is completely free, and therefore it is an excellent way to advertise your business plus your products and services.

In this dedicated box you should mention who you actually are, and what your experience is within the specific field.  Make it personal and be sure to include your name.  When you post articles the actual body of the article is most important and needs to be of high quality but so does the resource box.  This is the second most important part of submitting an article, so therefore you need to get it right.

The most appropriate way to write your resource box it to tell the reader about the experience that you have within your niche market.  Don’t go over the top.  Just be sure to show that you are knowledgeable.  Tell them just enough to get them interested, and then they will feel compelled to click on the link to your website.

Things To Include In Your Resource Box:

Your name and your business name should be included every time you post articles.  Your name is most important as it proves you are a genuine person.  You should also make sure that you include the website address beginning with http:// as this enables the reader to click on the link. 

This box is where you promote yourself, but it should be a minimum of two or three lines in length and no longer than six lines.  You need to make the reader aware that by clicking on the link, they will be taken to professional information or advice about the product or service that you wrote about in the body of the article.  

Things Not To Include In Your Resource Box:

When you create your resource box you should never list all of your websites in it.  Ideally you should write an article for each site.  This will help to ensure that the traffic is relevant. Otherwise you could be wasting yours and the visitors’ time.  If you post articles and advertise products that are unrelated then you may get barred from the submission site, you should therefore avoid doing this.

Nowadays many people are considering online work from home.  Fortunately there are many ways to earn from the internet, which includes selling on auction sites, setting up a website or becoming an affiliate.  Before a person decides to embark on this type of career they should research it thoroughly, especially as this type of career isn’t suitable for everyone.  Working from home has a lot of advantages such as extra freedom, a flexible work schedule and no limit on the amount of income that can be received.  Unfortunately there are also disadvantages which I will explore further in this article.

Online work from home requires a lot of time and effort, especially during the setting up stages.  The initial establishment phase can be extremely difficult and demanding, therefore you will need to be dedicated.  If you want to make a successful living from the comfort of your own home then commitment is needed.  If you become involved in a niche market that you feel passionate about then this commitment will be far easier.  At times you will feel as though you are not making any progress, but you will need to have the stamina to keep going.

Earning an income can take time, especially in the beginning.  Working from home has its benefits especially in terms of generating a high level of income, but unfortunately you will lose out on health insurance, retirement plans and other types of job benefits.  It is therefore important that you create a smart business plan that you will be able to adapt as you go along.  You really need to be organized and consider these particular aspects that would be usually provided by your employer.

Another negative aspect of carrying out online work from home is the fact that you are isolated.  You will not have any colleagues to discuss ideas with or ask for advice therefore you will need to seek these types of relationships elsewhere.  This aspect is particularly challenging if you are not use to working alone and spending long periods of time in isolation.  It is important that you find ways in which you can motivate yourself and avoid distractions, as this can potentially decrease your productivity and of course your income.

Other aspects that people struggle to cope with when carrying out online work from home is organization, creativity and flexibility.  You will need to be organized and of course creative in order to work efficiently and stay on top of the game. Balancing your work and leisure time can be challenging, you need to be flexible and find a balance between the two.

The Importance of focus

Since I have become involved in the world of internet marketing, I have come to realise that time is an extremely important aspect.  In order to succeed you need to commit yourself and dedicate a certain amount of your time.  Unfortunately, time is a limited resource.  Once it has gone you cannot get it back, therefore you need to use it wisely.  Spending your online time appropriately will determine whether or not you succeed in making money through the internet.

Unfortunately I do not have too much time on my hands due to full time employment and family commitments, however I still set time aside in order to fulfil my interest in internet marketing.  As with everything in life, it is easy to become sidetracked.  It is important that as an internet marketer to realise that time is limited and therefore plan ahead.

Below are some effective tips which can help you to spend your internet marketing time more wisely. 

Initially you need to learn the basic skills of effective time management.  It is easy to become lazy and adopt poor time management; therefore you need to avoid this.  In order to succeed you need to be efficient.  You need to adopt a solid work ethic and the ability to get things done.  Create a schedule and stick to it, don’t put things off until the next day.  Set your goals and stick to them, this will help you to be as productive as possible, plus it will provide you with the best results.  If you want to find out more about this subject then why not Google “time management”

It is important to develop your strengths.  When you are first starting out you may want to try and do everything yourself.  This may include the website design, marketing, article writing, blogging etc.  This is a great learning experience, however you cannot afford to dedicate your time to all of this and in reality you will become less efficient.  You will become frustrated and essentially your website will suffer.  You should focus on the aspects you enjoy, and the ones that you are good at.  You can outsource everything else, for example article writing or blogging.  If you are great at internet marketing then focus on this and allow someone else to do your writing or web design.

There is a famous saying that time is money however, this is not entirely true when it comes to internet marketing.  It is more beneficial for you to spend money rather than time!  For example, manually collecting client data can be extremely time-consuming.  Therefore it may be worth investing money on a tool which will automatically collect the data for you.  This will save you time and energy.

You should try to focus your attention on just one project at a time.  Unfortunately, I am guilty of starting more than one project at a time.  Starting more than one project at a time can cause you problems.  The volume of work increases causing stress and lack of focus.  In order to avoid this scenario I suggest that you work on only one venture or project as a time.  By doing this you can commit yourself properly, plus you a much more likely to succeed in making money through internet marketing.
